I did a swiss ball class this morning and I could not believe how hard it was. I always just thought it was for the oldies, you know, you just sit and bounce around the room so it can't be too hard and also, there are never really any younger people doing it, but boy was I wrong.

I could not believe how much I was sweating and the amount of energy you use just to stay on the ball. It was actually a really good class and really enjoyable as well. I will definitely be making it a weekly thing. My goal in the class is to be able to do everything using the ball. A couple of times I had to just use the floor because my balance and core control is so bad I couldn't balance properly and keep the ball still. Too my surprise I burnt 506 calories and that was forgetting to start my HRM for the first 10 mins or so. Swiss ball is now a new favourite of mine plus I love the variety of classes, it keeps the gym fresh and interesting.

Going well this week with food and even better with my exercise. My mini challenge for this week is to go to the gym 6 times and so far I have been 4 days in a row. Now I just have to get through Thursday - bit of cardio and weights, Friday TTT (tummies, tales & thighs) and Zumba and I have also booked myself in for a foot massage on Friday so can't wait for that. Saturday is my rest day of no exercise and then I will start all over again on Sunday after I weigh in and hopefully see a loss this week.

I'm actually enjoying all this exercise, it just makes me feel better and everything else just seems easier to handle, maybe I should have this mini goal every week!!
