As this is my second week of focusing on my exercise, I went to the gym tonight to do my Body Attack class. Unfortunately Louisa was on holidays and the admin at the gym didn't know until Saturday and were unable to get a replacement. I was tempted to go home, but I jumped onto the treadmill instead. I was only going to do 20 mins and then move onto a cross-trainer but because of the class cancellation most of the cardio equipment was taken so I just stayed on the treadmill.

I ended up walking at a speed of 6 for most of the time and going for 50 mins. My feet just couldn't take it anymore, they were burning. I wanted to burn at least 500 calories and I did 525 so I was pretty happy with that. Every 10 mins I would increase the gradient untill I got to 5%. As soon as the time hit 50 I hit the stop button. It was such a relief to stop and I couldn't wait to get my shoes off, I took them off as soon as I got into the car. I do feel really good for doing it though and the best thing about the workout is that I gave it 100% and I did it on my own. I didn't have an instructor to follow. I couldn't believe how motivated I was to make it a good workout. So, if I could do it tonight, I can do it again!!
