Losing Again

Today I lost 300 grams :) I don't care that it is ONLY 300 grams because it is a loss and a needed one at that. I am soooo happy that I lost this week cause I don't think I would have handled another gain very well. Yay!!!!! Hopefully things are starting to go down permanently.

Even though I am over the moon today with a weight loss, I am a little sad as well because the excitement of my greatly anticipated treadmill ended with a really disappointing fizzle. My treadmill didn't arrive yesterday like it should have.

My hubby tried to ring the company last night (well I made him ring. I always make him do stuff like that cause he is so much better at it than I am) only to be put on hold for 25 mins before being cut off. He rang back pressing "2" for another department only be put on hold and progress through the cue to sit at "first in the line" for a further 46 mins before he got fed up and hung up the phone. It's a bit rough being left on hold for that amount of time.

Hubby rang again this morning and he got straight through. He explained what had happened the night before being on hold and was told that their office hours finish at 5 pm and I heard hubby tell them that they should "put that on a message instead of having customers hanging on like a dickhead". We later found out that the treadmill didn't arrive because it "didn't go through" after asking what that meant we found out that the treadmill wasn't approved because of insufficient income. Hubby and I both found this really strange because we were never asked what our income was when we organised the treadmill.

The treadmill is on a payment plan of $18 a week for 30 something months and then it is ours to keep. It's a little over $2,500 all up and is all interest free. Anyhooooo we are still waiting to hear what is going on with it. If we get stuffed around too much I am going to tell them to forget it and I will just go back to the gym. I still have a few days of membership left before it is canceled completely. I will just have to wait and see what happens, but I am really, really hoping that the treadmill will be sorted out quickly.
