The other week I took a fall down the stairs and hurt my back so I had to put my 200 squats and push-up program on hold. I felt better this week so I started the program, but during the week my back really started to hurt again and a lot more than the week before. Off to the doctor's I went and it is not good news, I have cracked a bone in my lower back SO I am out of action for a few weeks.
Exercise wise, I am disappointed, but that is no reason to just give up completely. Being injured is not an excuse for me to just pig out and gain back any weight I have lost. All I have to do is really focus on my food by tracking every single morsel that passes my lips which I know will be heading straight to my hips. Now that I am back doing the Core program I am more at ease with my food and not so stressed about the whole thing. It also means that I can have my lemonade pancakes for ZERO points - how can I be unhappy with that!!
So I will not be completing my May goals, but I will be focusing on my food, food and food. I am hoping to re-start the 200 squats and 100 push-ups program in June, but I will just have to see how it goes.
What's in a lemondae pancake??? Sounds good.
